Photographing suburbs isn’t new but still continue to fascinate as a documentation of their architectural  evolution human desertion.

In 1970s, a group of photographers introduces a new approach to landscape photography focusing on an objective documentation of places and the relationship between human and nature (intrusion of industrial structures, suburbs places : motels, parking).
Famous artists : Robert Adams, Bernd and Hilla Becher, Joe Deal, and Stephen Shore.
It has influenced the next generation of photographers called Dusseldorf School of Photography”.
